Hector and I met in 2001. While sitting and enjoying lunch one day in 2002, we decided to take advantage of Hector’s creative eye and love of taking photos, and my knack for networking, by venturing into the Professional Photography Business. We started the business slowly at first, and learned a great deal along the way, to eventually become known as Moonstruck Photography & Video.
The composition of Hector’s photography skills are born out of his love of photography and his background in Architecture. What makes Moonstruck Photography & Video so unique is that we are not only professional at what we do, but we are exceptionally personable. We truly get to know our customers, some have even become very close friends, and we remember each and every Client. It is not just a business to us. We take ownership of our work and set out to do our very best. Every consideration is given to our Clients and we go above and beyond their expectations to meet financial budgets and professional needs.
We do not specialize in just one arena. Our photography and video skills are perfect for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Weddings, Significant Wedding Anniversary Parties, Sweet 16’s, Quinces, Life Cycle events, and Family Portraits on location.
For Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, our skills are exceptionally sharp as we observe the Jewish Faith and are more than familiar with the significance of the day. We are very cognizant of our tradition and we follow to the letter the protocol set forth by each individual Temple that we work in. This understanding is very important and appreciated by the Rabbis and Cantors that we have met.
For Quinces, and for customers who may have family who speak Spanish, it is important to know that Hector is bilingual. His South American heritage and mannerisms will be evident and will make everyone feel at home.
While the beauty of our work is clearly evident in all events, it absolutely shines in our Wedding Photography. Hector enjoys the elegance and artistry of a wedding and your album will show that passion.
Hector and I were both raised by our grandmothers. This very simple fact gives both of us a special empathy for the senior generation that sacrificed so much for what we all have today. They represent the generation that fostered our family values and work ethics. We pay special attention to these members of your family which will be appreciated in your memories for years to come.
On another personal note, Hector and I married in 2005 and working together has been wonderful. We are very family oriented and cherish the circle of friends and close family we are so fortunate to have.
Please contact us for your photography and/or video needs. We would be thrilled to speak with you and come up with a package that would best meet your needs.
